Numerous South Africans are currently stranded in Ukraine, including students who were sent there by the South African government to study medicine, thus, the government has a duty to assist these individuals.
All South Africans who currently find themselves in this war-torn country must be assisted to leave Ukraine and return to South Africa as soon as possible.
At present, there are many rumours about the students' desperate situation, including reports of some of them being stranded without food and other essentials for survival.
The FF Plus has always held the opinion that war and violence are no way to solve a problem.
Therefore, the party is calling on all the relevant role players in the international community to do everything in their power to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine.
