The FF Plus strongly condemns the brutal murder of Mr Christo Morrison (76) and his wife, Christa (73), on a farm near Glen in the Free State.
Farm attacks and murders differ fundamentally from break-ins and robberies in urban areas – particularly because they are so violent and heinous. These attacks are fuelled by the ANC and EFF’s political rhetoric.
The FF Plus views the cruel attack as brutal and needless.
This attack is but one of many which demonstrate that government does not have the political will to combat this type of crime.
Security networks need to be reinforced so that attacks like these can be averted.
The police’s response should be such that it deters perpetrators.
The FF Plus herewith expresses its deepest condolences to the Morrison couple’s next of kin, who should not have to go through this terrible pain and loss.
