Pierre Cronje is an established member of the Vanrhynsdorp community and has been involved with the local neighbourhood watch for approximately 12 years. Through his involvement, he has gained first-hand experience of the importance of community safety, cooperation and caring for others. Pierre believes in being practically involved rather than waiting for others to solve problems. He wants to use his experience and knowledge to make a positive contribution to Ward 7 and the wider community.
I stand for respect, honesty, reliability and cooperation. I believe a stronger community is built when residents, businesses and organisations are willing to work together and take responsibility. I want to be someone who listens, gets involved and is willing to lend a hand when there are challenges. To me, community service is not about a title, but about caring, serving others and giving something positive back to the community I am part of.
