Neil Swanepoel has lived in McGregor for 26 years and has 30 years of municipal experience, including serving as a housing inspector, works foreman and superintendent in engineering services. He was chairperson of the McGregor Primary School governing body for 15 years and also served as chairperson of the clinic committee. Neil is currently chairperson of the McGregor Community Policing Forum. His extensive municipal and community experience gives him a strong understanding of local needs.
I stand for responsible, honest and transparent representation and want to focus on tangible improvements in Ward 5. My priorities are repairing roads, youth programmes, cooperation between the municipality and small-scale farmers, and building unity in our community. I believe residents’ concerns must be taken seriously and that through cooperation we can build a stronger, safer and more prosperous McGregor.
