“Safe communities require more than a response . My experience in the SAPS, child protection, training and project management taught me that prevention, cooperation and thorough follow-up change lives. Ditsobotla must create a safety forum in which the SAPS, CPF structures, neighborhood watches, schools, social services and ward representatives share information responsibly. Streetlights, abandoned buildings, cable theft and dangerous public spaces must be addressed. I want to protect the safety of children, women, elderly people and vulnerable residents, while ensuring that every reported problem is followed through .”
