Lelanie Morris is a long-standing KOSH resident, VF Plus councillor and Ward 17 candidate in Matlosana. She has over 30 years of experience as a legal secretary, with expertise in administration, collections, litigation, contracts and municipal charges. Since April 2025, she has served on Matlosana’s Finance and Corporate Committees. As chairperson of the KOSH VF Plus branch, she actively addresses service-delivery complaints and supports community groups. Lelanie holds ministry and photography qualifications and is training in neuro-counselling and life coaching, helping people through trauma with empathy and perseverance.
Servant leadership means thoroughly documenting residents’ concerns, following up and persisting until there is an answer. My years in the legal environment taught me the importance of sound administration, legislation, financial management and accountability. In Ward 17, I will ensure complaints are handled professionally and municipal decisions communicated clearly. Matlosana must strengthen financial and corporate management, properly control contracts and direct funds fairly towards critical services. Residents deserve an accessible representative who acts with empathy and perseverance, ensuring important matters are followed through to completion.
