Gerhard is a born-and-bred Thabazimbi resident with deep roots in the local community.
A former commando member with years of experience in mining management, he brings strong leadership, discipline and practical skills to municipal service.
He served five years on the ward committee, focusing on water infrastructure, and was actively involved in projects to maintain parks and the cemetery.
As a former member of the Thabazimbi Business and Farmers Association, he now serves as Deputy Chair of the VF Plus in Thabazimbi and remains dedicated to local community empowerment.
