Gerda has served as a VF Plus PR councillor in the Thaba Chweu Local Municipality since 2021 and chairs the VF Plus Lowveld Regional Party Council.
She is the founder and CEO of the Soli Deo Gloria Care Centre in Lydenburg, where she works daily with vulnerable individuals and communities.
As a pastor, counsellor, and educator, Gerda believes in servant leadership, accountability, and decisive action.
She is an accessible community leader who protects the interests of residents and speaks out strongly against decay, injustice, and poor service delivery.
