Erns Kleynhans is the VF Plus mayoral candidate for Matlosana and an experienced political leader. He served as a Matlosana councillor from 2016 to 2019, followed by roles as a member and whip of the North West Provincial Legislature. He returned to council in April 2025. His experience covers infrastructure, local economic development, health, education, public works and safety. Since 2016, Erns has served in provincial and federal party structures. His private-sector experience includes business consulting, management, directorship, entrepreneurship and estate agency, combining leadership with practical management experience.
Matlosana can recover through ethical political leadership, expert administration and communities working together on one clear, implementable plan. My experience in council, the provincial legislature and private sector has shown me that teamwork delivers results when goals are clear, budgets realistic and responsibilities measurable. As mayoral candidate, I will promote competent management, strict performance monitoring and decisive action against corruption and wasteful expenditure. Savings must return to essential services, including water, electricity, sewage, roads and clean neighbourhoods, creating a sustainable municipality that earns trust and enables growth.
