Chris Conradie is a resident of ward 25 and an VF Plus candidate in Potchefstroom. His career includes meteorology, computer technology, asset management and education. He designed South Africa’s first electronic weather station, developed AngloGold’s asset management register and obtained a master’s degree. Chris was an Information Technology teacher at Potchefstroom Gimnasium for 17 years. He currently serves as vice-chairperson of the CPF and chairperson of the PSID camera project. He also has experience in environmental clean-ups, safety and practical community service, and has a deep commitment to his ward.

My experience in technology, asset management, education and community safety taught me that problems can be solved with good data, planning and sustained follow-up. JB Marks needs a complete infrastructure register, maintenance schedules and clear responsibility for every municipal asset. I also want to promote stronger cooperation between the municipality, CPF, camera networks and residents. With measurable targets and feedback, we can visibly restore ward 25 with sustainable results for every resident.”
