Charles Henn is a principled and reliable resident of Ward 11, where he has lived since 1986. As a long-standing resident, he knows the five towns of Langeberg and understands the needs and challenges of the region. Charles has valuable financial knowledge and management skills, as well as extensive knowledge of sport and sports facilities. He believes in responsible, honest and effective governance and wants to use his knowledge and experience to serve the community, with residents’ interests and effective communication as priorities.
“I believe residents deserve a councillor who is prepared to stand up for what is right in council and other meetings. We must strive for realistic property rates and affordable water and electricity tariffs while ensuring reliable service delivery. To me, good governance is inseparable from integrity, accountability and open communication. I want to be a link between residents, the council and the municipal administration so that problems are followed up. I believe competent people should be appointed and that corruption should not be tolerated.”
