Carel Pienaar is a councillor in the Dipaleseng Local Municipality, serving Balfour, Greylingstad, Grootvlei and the surrounding farming communities. A dedicated community activist since 2010, Carel has been actively involved in various community platforms and outreach initiatives. He works continuously towards improved service delivery, progress and the expansion of services, while being ready to assist residents whenever needed. For Carel, the principle is simple: RESIDENTS FIRST – everything for the benefit of the people of Dipaleseng.
“My focus is simple: to restore, improve and continuously maintain Dipaleseng’s infrastructure – from electricity, water and sewage to responsible financial management. Transparency and accountability must be the foundation. Dipaleseng faces serious financial challenges, but these can be addressed. Together with the VF Plus, I want to implement a well-considered 10-point plan to build a stronger, better-managed Dipaleseng where residents always come first.”
