Water problems at licensing offices are a thing of the past

Good news for Krugersdorp residents is that the water problems at the licensing offices in Delporten are a thing of the past.

Over the past few months, the licensing offices had to close its doors at about eleven o'clock every day due to a shortage of water.

The Mogale City Municipality (Krugersdorp, Magaliesburg, Muldersdrift) has since searched for and found a solution to the problem.

The Municipality installed two 10 000 litre water tanks, connected to the main water supply system, at the licensing offices.

The licensing offices will now remain open for its normal working hours and will also be open every third Saturday of the month.

And on Wednesdays, pensioners who want to renew their driver's and vehicle licences will have preference.

Krugersdorp is frequently affected by water shortages caused by, among other things, load shedding that prevents Rand Water from pumping water to reservoirs.

As part of the coalition government in Mogale City, the FF Plus is working hard to uplift the Municipality after the ANC nearly destroyed it.
