The FF Plus is encouraging Tshwane Metro residents to examine the draft budget for the 2024/25 financial year as well as the proposed Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and submit comments, thus contributing to the Metro’s advancement.
As part of the public participation process, residents have the opportunity to attend meetings during which both the budget and the IDP will be explained in detail.
Information regarding these meetings will be communicated to residents via the Metro’s official channels.
The FF Plus is currently engaged in discussions with its coalition partners to ensure the best for residents and take the budget forward in a sustainable manner.
The draft tariff hikes are as follows:
• Property tax will increase by 5% across all categories
• Garbage disposal will increase by 5%
• Electricity will increase by 12%
• Water will increase by 5,9%
• Sanitation will increase by 5,9%
