The Aloe Ridge West community in Burgersfort have joined hands with the FF Plus to support the party's clean-up initiative.
Volunteers from the community and the FF Plus have started cleaning up illegal dumping grounds and transporting the garbage to a designated dumping site several kilometres from the Aloe Ridge West residential area.
At present, the Fetakgomo Tubatse Municipality and its residents are using a dumping site in Apel, which is situated about 100 km from Burgersfort.
The dumping site in Burgersfort is currently closed, which creates an enormous problem for the community and results in illegal dumping grounds.
The FF Plus will engage with the Municipality's Department of Corporative Services and the municipal manager, Walter Phala, to request the construction of a dumping site closer to the Burgersfort community.
The party wants to invite residents to get involved and to join the local FF Plus branch so as to stay up to date with the party's activities in the community.
