Anet was reportedly shot in the face with a shotgun through a window after she came upon and chased a youth from her home early yesterday morning.
The spike in the number of attacks by armed criminals on vulnerable victims is alarming.
It demonstrates utter moral decay under ANC rule among a certain part of our population, who apparently spares no-one in pursuing their greedy motives.
Incidents such as these also highlight the need for everyone to implement safety measures at their homes and to join their local security networks.
