The FF Plus is calling on the people of the North West province to report any information they may have on the theft of the bust of the boere-hero General Koos De la Rey so that the perpetrators can be brought to book.
Over the weekend, General De la Rey's grave in Lichtenburg was vandalised and the bust was taken.
The FF Plus and the FAK visited the site earlier today to determine the level of damage to the grave and monument.
The vandalization of this cultural beacon of a national hero once again demonstrates the far-reaching impact that crime has on all areas of our society.
The fact that not even communities' cultural treasures are safe from being targeted by criminals is indicative of the level of overall moral decline that is increasingly experienced under ANC rule.
