Mr André Moss has been appointed as the FF Plus’s new Member of the Provincial Legislature (MPL) for Limpopo in the place of Ms Marcelle Maritz after her sudden passing on 4 October.
Moss grew up in Polokwane (Pietersburg), but later moved to Tzaneen where he has been serving as an FF Plus proportional councillor in the Tzaneen Local Municipality since November 2021.
As MPL, Moss will endeavour to facilitate closer cooperation between the provincial and local spheres of government to assist municipalities, in particular, with repairing decaying infrastructure.
With his police experience, Moss will focus on rural safety, like his predecessor, and will campaign for the protection of the province’s farmers and their workers.
In the Legislature, Moss will mainly be involved in the Portfolio Committees on Education, Rural Safety and Health.
The FF Plus wishes him all the best with the task at hand and believes that he will continue to build on the good work Marcelle did in the province.
