The FF Plus was shocked and grieved to learn that Marcelle Maritz (MPL), the party’s provincial leader and MPL in Limpopo, passed away suddenly last night.
Marcelle was very well-known in Limpopo, and her passing is not only a terrible loss for her loved ones, but also for the FF Plus and her community which she served selflessly and with great zeal.
She served as the FF Plus’s leader in Limpopo since 2019 and was known to be a hard-working MPL.
The farming community was especially dear to her, and hardly a single farm murder or attack took place in Limpopo where she did not visit the victims or their next of kin.
Likewise, she frequently visited hospitals and always demonstrated much compassion for humans or animals that were suffering or in need.
Marcelle will be remembered as someone who truly served and worked for her community. Her passing leaves a great void.
As the leader of the FF Plus, I would like to personally offer my condolences to her next of kin and wish them all the best. May our Heavenly Father truly comfort them.
