The FF Plus welcomes the establishment of the Kaapse Forum, a civil rights organisation for the promotion and protection of coloured West Capetonians' interests.
The party also wants to congratulate radio and TV personality Heindrich Wyngaard who was appointed the executive chairperson of Kaapse Forum.
It is of the utmost importance for coloured civil society to become actively involved in its own and the Western Cape's future.
The coloured community is the majority community in the Western Cape and it is also thanks to this community that Afrikaans is the majority language in the province.
The Kaapse Forum has a very big and significant role to play. It is essential that stability is urgently established in the rural areas of the Western Cape before the general decay of rural areas, which is already widely experienced in the rest of the South Africa, also starts to affect this province.
The FF Plus in the Western Cape is committed to keeping the province out of the hands of the ANC / EFF and other radicals.
