Ruan Viljoen is an experienced project and financial manager He plans and monitors projects, manages budgets, and ensures that work is completed on time and to standard. Ruan holds a BCom Honours in Business Management and Marketing, a BCom in Entrepreneurship and Business Management and advanced training in project management. He has been involved in more than 90 projects, including land, water, environmental, and economic-impact studies. He puts strong analytical, reporting, time-management and strategic problem-solving skills into practice.
A recovery plan is credible only when every project has a budget, responsible person, deadline and measurable outcome. My experience in project and financial management taught me to identify risks, allocate resources wisely and take corrective action when work falls behind. JB Marks must manage its infrastructure according to a clear priority list and maintenance programme. Progress and expenditure must be reported to residents monthly. In this way, we can deliver projects on time, within budget and to standard while restoring public trust and protecting infrastructure sustainably for the future.
