Roger comes from humble beginnings, having grown up in a mud house without electricity, running water, or proper sanitation.
Through perseverance and education, he qualified in electrical engineering, worked across various industries and mining, lectured at Gert Sibande TVET College, and ultimately became a businessman and philanthropist.
Roger is dedicated to his community and strives to fight corruption, improve service delivery, create jobs, support agriculture and local businesses, promote skills development, protect water and the environment, upgrade sanitation, advance sports, and establish rehabilitation centres.
