Peter Brauteseth is a Mossel Bay businessman and advocate for taxpayers’ rights with practical experience in municipal matters. Through his involvement, he has gained knowledge of tariffs, budgets, infrastructure planning and public participation. His particular focus is Mossel Bay’s water security, environmental protection and sustainable development. Peter stands for conservative values, responsible governance, personal accountability and protecting community interests. He wants to use his experience to advance residents’ interests and contribute to responsible growth in Mossel Bay.
I want to be an accessible and independent-minded councillor who follows up on residents’ concerns and holds the municipality accountable. I stand for affordable services, transparent decision-making and responsible spending of taxpayers’ money. Mossel Bay’s water security and infrastructure capacity must be considered in all development decisions. I believe we can support growth and development without compromising residents, our natural resources or the unique character of Mossel Bay.
