John O’Kelly is a candidate with a strong focus on safety, infrastructure and efficient service delivery. He holds a national diploma in occupational safety and an assessor qualification, and has extensive experience in SHEQ management, risk assessment, safety audits and quality control. John were sergeant major in the SANDF intelligence corps and later worked on construction, mining and power-station sites. He manages Sunwave Solar. His experience connects strategic planning, technical safety, people development and responsible business management. He also believes in training, empowerment and responsible leadership.
