Greg Fraser is a candidate for the coming local election. He matriculated at Grey College and then completed national service in the South African Air Force, where he gained valuable discipline and life experience. Since moving to Potchefstroom in 1988, Greg has worked closely with the agricultural community in the veterinary industry. From 2002, he built extensive experience in the hotel industry, business management, service delivery and human relations. He understands the needs of local businesses and residents and brings strong communication and problem-solving skills to the JB Marks community.
My years in the agricultural and hotel industries taught me that good service begins with listening, responding quickly and treating people with respect. JB Marks must have the same attitude towards residents. I want to promote stronger cooperation with agriculture, tourism, businesses and community organisations to support economic growth and job opportunities. We must also prioritise clean, safe public spaces and functional infrastructure around business districts. With honest communication, practical management and consistent follow-up, we can rebuild trust in the municipality. This is how we ensure sustainable progress for everyone.
