Barend van der Merwe is a proud Northern Cape resident and more than thirty years participant in the Afrikaner’s fight for freedom – for the past twenty-five years with active involvement in the VF Plus. As a farmer, businessman in construction and owner of several businesses, he has built up valuable experience. He is a committed Christian who fully subscribes to the principles and values of the VF Plus. His life reflects a deep commitment to his community, his faith and the ideal in which people can flourish again.
