Alie Chamberlain has lived in Mooinooi for 33 years and is the FF Plus candidate. a Family man and a hands-on community leader who prefers to pitch in rather than talk about problems. His service includes cleanup initiatives, pothole repairs, tree planting, school bus escorts, and assistance with issues such as stolen water meters, burst pipes, and Eskom-related problems. A municipality wins back trust when people see that problems are resolved properly. Mooinooi’s burst pipes, stolen meters, potholes and electricity faults must be registered, prioritised and tracked on a single system until the work is complete. The critical infrastructure risk register must show where recurring faults threaten communities and safety. Local residents and organisations can provide valuable information and emergency assistance, but the municipality must still perform its duty.
