Frik is a respected community leader who has lived in Thabazimbi for 33 years.
His political journey began in 1994 as a Freedom Front activist, followed by service in the Thabazimbi Ratepayers Association from 2010 – 2019.
Since 2019 he has been a councillor for the VF Plus, chairing the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) and serving on the Provincial Council.
He chairs the church council’s property committee and is a trustee of the retirement home.
His passion is helping residents with municipal issues and ensuring reliable service delivery.
