Freedom Front Plus offers reward following sabotage of election campaign posters

The Freedom Front Plus (VF Plus) is offering a reward for any information that could lead to the conviction of perpetrators who tore down a large number of the party’s election posters in the Mogale City Local Municipality.

The damage already amounts to thousands of rand, with the most serious incidents having occurred in Voortrekker Avenue, Robert Broom Road and Fredrick Cooper Street in Krugersdorp.

Such conduct is by no means coincidental. Deliberately tearing down posters is nothing but sabotage and wilful damage to property.

The Freedom Front Plus has already lodged a case of malicious damage to property with the police.

The scale of the sabotage efforts is a serious cause for concern and raises the question of whether the Freedom Front Plus’s growing support is regarded as a threat by certain political role players. The party will, however, not be deterred by intimidation.

The Freedom Front Plus’s temporary absence from lampposts does not mean that the party is absent at all. On the contrary, its campaign continues and its message to Mogale City remains loud and clear.

The Freedom Front Plus urges anyone who has any information relating to its election campaign posters being damaged or removed to immediately contact the police or the party.
