The FF Plus welcomes the ruling of the North Gauteng High Court to set aside the Gauteng government's decision to place the Tshwane Metro under administration.
The Gauteng Premier, David Makhura, and his MEC for Cooperative Governance, Lebogang Maile, clearly abused their powers in making the decision for party-political gain and in so doing, they caused immeasurable damage to service delivery in the Metro.
The FF Plus will continue to support the multiparty coalition in the Metro and will hold the Premier and the MEC accountable if need be.
