The FF Plus has appointed Dr Duncan du Bois, former teacher and history expert with nearly four decades of experience in the political field, as the party's premier candidate for KwaZulu Natal.
Dr Du Bois authored various books on the history of the former Natal province. He was a ward councillor for his suburb, the Durban Bluff, for 20 years and he has been involved in local and provincial politics since 1982.
He now joins the competent team of premier candidates that the FF Plus selected for the upcoming elections.
Recently, support for the FF Plus in KwaZulu-Natal increased significantly. It is clear that the people in the province are looking for an alternative that will take a stand against ANC policies, like Black Economic Empowerment, that only benefit a small elite and discriminate against minority groups.
Dr Du Bois has now joined the higher ranks of a party that has shown that it serves the community, offers effective opposition, solves problems and can govern successfully as part of a multiparty government.
