White commercial farmers of South Africa, who are yet again being targeted by the ANC, will not accept the ANC government, by way of imposing land ceilings, to seize their land. They will also not agree to it, Mr. Werner Weber, the FF Plus’ national spokesperson on rural development and land reform says.
Mr. Weber says this plan of Mr. Gugile Nkwinti, minister of rural development and land reform which he announced in parliament on Friday is a land-grab action in the Zimbabwe-style which will not be tolerated.
“Farmers of South Africa are fully aware of the fact that they are farming in a market environment where ownership of farms change continually.
“They however categorically deny that they have acquired land illegally and will cling to the land of which they are the legal owners,” Mr. Weber says.
