The FF Plus is proud of the fact that its hard work has come to fruition in the North West province and the party is committed to continue serving the people of the province as best it can. The FF Plus is able to do this seeing as it represents the community on all three levels of government.
The provincial leader, Mr Michal Groenewald, was elected to represent the party in national Parliament and Mr Erns Kleynhans was elected to the provincial Legislature.
Groenewald has been actively involved in the party's election campaigns and political structures ever since his school days and thus he has more than 20 years of experience in politics. At present, he is serving on the local government and legal committee of the party's federal council and he has been serving as a councillor in the Matlosana Local Municipality in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda district since 2011.
He was also elected as the director of the Midvaal Water Company that supplies water to the Matlosana Municipality. He is currently busy with his final year of studies for the degree BCom Law through UNISA.
Kleynhans has been actively involved in the party's political activities since 2015 and currently serves on the strategy committee of the party's federal council. He has been serving as a councillor in the Matlosana Local Municipality council since 2016 and is also a member of the economic growth and infrastructure committees of the local council.
He worked in the business world as a consultant and businessman who succeeded in clinching many export deals. He is also a family man and he and his wife are the proud parents of twin sons.
The party would also like to welcome two newly elected councillors in the Matlosana Local Municipality council. They are Ms Lee-Ann Scott and Mr Hendrik Jordaan.
Scott has been involved in the party's election campaigns since 2016. She stood as a candidate in the municipal election campaign in 2016 and since then, her passion for politics and the community has only grown. She is enthusiastic about her appointment as councillor and believes that she will make a positive contribution to bring about real change. She obtained her BA degree in Recreation Sciences and Tourism Management at the North West University in Potchefstroom.
Jordaan, who is a former learner of Schoonspruit High School, is a qualified telecommunications and infrastructure planner. And apart from his business enterprises, he is also an avid scuba diver and diving instructor. He is a skilled shot as well. Jordaan joined the FF Plus's ranks in 2016 and immediately realised that being involved in the party is the best way to make a positive difference in his community.
There is a lot of hard work that lies ahead in the province and all the new FF Plus representatives are looking forward to taking up the responsibility and serving the community as best they can.
