The residents of Ward 18 in Witbank are suffering due to poor service delivery. On the 11th of November 2020, they will have the opportunity to bring about change at the polls.
Therefore, it is important for residents of this Ward to make sure this coming weekend (3 and 4 October) that they are correctly registered to be able to vote in the upcoming by-elections.
Voters can check whether they are registered in their ward at https://www.vfplus.org.za/AmIRegistered or they can SMS their ID numbers to 34139.
Registration points will be open from 08:00 to 17:00 for residents to register. The registration points for the Ward are the Reynorif Primary School in Gasel Avenue, Reynorif, and the Spring Valley Primary School.
Initially, the by-elections were scheduled to take place on the 18th of March 2020, but it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
If the FF Plus's candidate, Ms Sharon Schlachter, is elected to ward councillor, the voters in the Ward, and the entire community, will be much better represented and served.
