S\u00f3 word &#8216;n bose kringloop van ekonomiese en munisipale verval geskep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die oplossing l\u00ea nie bloot in groter finansi\u00eble oordragte aan munisipaliteite nie. Geld sonder aanspreeklikheid sal nie &#8216;n gebroke stelsel herstel nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Munisipaliteite moet terugkeer na die kernbeginsels van bevoegde bestuur, finansi\u00eble dissipline, effektiewe inkomste-invordering, deursigtige verkryging, gereelde infrastruktuuronderhoud en gevolge vir wanbestuur en nie-prestasie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daar moet ook groter ruimte wees vir privaatsektor-deelname waar munisipaliteite nie oor die nodige vermo\u00eb beskik nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus glo die 4 November 2026-plaaslike regeringsverkiesing moet daarom oor veel meer as dienslewering gaan. Dit moet oor ekonomiese herstel gaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ons het munisipaliteite nodig wat ondernemings in staat stel om te groei, beleggers te lok en werk skep, nie munisipaliteite wat ekonomiese groei verhinder nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Herstel plaaslike regering en ons l\u00ea die grondslag vir die herstel van Suid-Afrika se ekonomie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus sal \u2018n stabiliserende rol hierin speel om met sy unieke waardestelsel plaaslike regering en die ekonomie in Suid Afrika weer op die wenpad te plaas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Suid-Afrika sal nie sy handelsmark, beleggings en ekonomiese groei volhoubaar kan herstel indien die land se plaaslike regering nie dringend herstel word nie.
