Thapelo Matlala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018n Verslag rakende die dissiplin\u00eare ondersoek teen hom is egter slegs mondelings en in opsommende vorm aan die raad voorgehou. Geen skriftelike verslag of ondersteunende dokumente is vooraf of tydens die vergadering aan raadslede beskikbaar gestel nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raadslede is in werklikheid die geleentheid ontneem om die inhoud behoorlik te bestudeer, te oorweeg of vrae voor te berei. Sonder volledige inligting kan geen verantwoordelike besluit geneem word nie. Dit het die basiese beginsel van goeie en deursigtige regering ondermyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten spyte hiervan het die speaker, me. Dipuo Peters voortgegaan om \u2019n besluit oor die skorsing af te dwing. Geen ruimte is gelaat vir debat, verduidelikende vrae of teenvoorstelle of teenstemme nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus-koukus se formele beswaar is dat raadslede nie in staat gestel is om \u2019n ingeligte besluit te neem nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hierdie hantering van die proses is onaanvaarbaar. Juis daarom het die VF Plus ook \u2019n formele mosie ingedien om die versuim van me. Peters om betyds \u2019n spesiale raadsvergadering in Desember 2025 te bel\u00ea, te laat ondersoek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raadslede het \u2019n plig teenoor inwoners om wettig, deursigtig en verantwoordbaar op te tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus sal hierdie plig konsekwent afdwing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die speaker
