{"id":84462,"date":"2025-12-09T12:30:26","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T10:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vfplus.org.za\/?p=84462"},"modified":"2025-12-09T12:30:30","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T10:30:30","slug":"vf-plus-ontevrede-oor-werknemer-ongelykheid-in-emfuleni-munisipaliteit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vfplus.org.za\/af\/mediaverklarings\/vf-plus-ontevrede-oor-werknemer-ongelykheid-in-emfuleni-munisipaliteit\/","title":{"rendered":"VF Plus ontevrede oor werknemer-ongelykheid in Emfuleni-munisipaliteit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus het tydens die jongste raadsvergadering van die Ekurhuleni-plaaslike munisipaliteit (Evaton, Sebokeng, Vaal Oewer, Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging) sterk beswaar aangeteken teen die blatante ongelykheid in indiensneming en bevorderingspraktyke in die munisipaliteit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volgens die amptelike indiensnemingsverslag beskik die munisipaliteit oor \u2019n totaal van 1 782 werknemers, waarvan slegs 71 wit, 24 bruin en 5 Indi\u00ebr is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die verslag bevestig dat daar in die 2024\/25-finansi\u00eble jaar geen nuwe aanstellings uit hierdie gemeenskappe gemaak is nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Niemand is bevorder nie en slegs een wit vrou het opleiding ontvang. In teenstelling hiermee is 200 nuwe swart aanstellings goedgekeur, 12 is bevorder en 117 vir opleiding gekies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus het sy ontevredenheid oor hierdie tendens uitgespreek en beklemtoon dat die huidige fokus op kwotas en rigiede indiensnemingsgelykheidsmaatre\u00ebls nie tot voordeel van die munisipaliteit of sy inwoners is nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die party se beleid is dat aanstellings en bevorderings uitsluitlik op meriete gedoen moet word, ongeag velkleur. Die najaag van kwotas ondermyn die munisipaliteit se vermo\u00eb om \u2019n bekwame en effektiewe arbeidsmag te bou en dit benadeel dienslewering en ekonomiese groei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Billike arbeidspraktyke moet gehandhaaf word, maar dit mag nooit ten koste van kundigheid, meriete en die regverdige bevordering van alle gemeenskappe wees nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus sal voortgaan om druk op die munisipaliteit te plaas om te sorg dat minderhede ook bevorder en opgelei word en dat meriete en kundigheid die enigste maatstawwe vir aanstellings en bevorderings is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die VF Plus het tydens die jongste raadsvergadering van die Ekurhuleni-plaaslike munisipaliteit (Evaton, Sebokeng, Vaal Oewer, Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging) sterk beswaar aangeteken teen die blatante ongelykheid in indiensneming en bevorderingspraktyke in die munisipaliteit.
