Die VF Plus moedig pensioenarisse in die Ekurhuleni-metro aan om aansoek te doen vir korting op hul eiendomsbelasting voor die nuwe eiendomswaardasies inskop op 1 Julie 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die nuwe waardasielys beteken dat alle vorige kortings hernu moet word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die metro het die inkomstedrempel waarvolgens pensioenarisse vir korting kwalifiseer verhoog. Dit is dus moontlik dat meer huishoudings nou vir di\u00e9 korting kan kwalifiseer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Versuim om te hernu kan lei tot die verlies van voordele en \u2018n verhoging in maandelikse eiendomsbelasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die nuwe kortings lyk soos volg:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om te kwalifiseer moet die aansoeker:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Die geregistreerde eienaar van die eiendom wees, of geregistreer wees as \u2018n \u201clewensreg-gebruiker\u201d in die aktekantoor.
\u2022 \u2018n Geldige identiteitsdokument voorl\u00ea.
\u2022 Ten minste 60 jaar oud wees ten tye van die aansoek. Indien \u2018n egpaar binne gemeenskap van goedere getroud is en die eiendom op beide hul name geregistreer is, sal die ouderdom van die oudste eggenoot geld – of \u2018n goedgekeurde gestremdheidstoelaag-ontvanger of medies-afgetrede persoon.
\u2022 Nie ‘n reeds behoeftige wat belastingkorting ontvang nie.
\u2022 Permanent op die eiendom woon en wat slegs uit een woning bestaan en geen gedeelte daarvan word verhuur nie.
\u2022 Die bogenoemde besonderhede bevestig deur middel van \u2018n be\u00ebdigde verklaring en\/of jongste inkomstebelastingassessering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indien die aansoek goedgekeur word, geld die volgende kriteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gedeelte 1:
\u2018n Waardevermindering van R150 000 op die eiendom vir belastingdoeleindes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gedeelte 2:
Verdere korting op die maandelikse eiendomsbelasting gegrond op die gemiddelde maandelikse huishoudelike inkomste oor die afgelope twaalf maande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die VF Plus is daartoe verbind om die finansi\u00eble reg en waardigheid van senior burgers te beskerm en moedig pensioenarisse aan om aansoek te doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
