Humphrey Sizwe Mayisela, se kantoor ingedien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die munisipaliteit (Kriel, Ogies, Phola, Emalahleni\/Witbank) het tot dusver bykans geen herstelwerk aan die pad gedoen nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die konstante vloei van swaar vragmotors op hierdie roete dra beduidend by tot die omvang van die skade. Daar is &#8216;n kommerwekkende toename in ernstige ongelukke op OR Tambo-rylaan, waarvan sommige reeds tot die verlies van lewe gelei het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verskeie diep slaggate lei gereeld tot beskadigde bande en ander skade aan voertuie. Die VF Plus het reeds verskeie klagtes vanaf plaaslike inwoners hieroor ontvang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus doen gevolglik &#8216;n dringende beroep op mnr. Mayisela om:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Onmiddellike herstelwerk aan die slaggate op OR Tambo-rylaan te onderneem.<br>\u2022 Maatre\u00ebls in te stel om die impak van swaar voertuigverkeer op die pad te beperk, insluitend moontlike gewigsbeperkings of die ondersoek van alternatiewe roetes.<br>\u2022 &#8216;n Duidelike en dringende plan met belanghebbendes te kommunikeer oor hoe die langtermyn-instandhouding van die rylaan verseker sal word.<br>\u2022 Deursigtigheid en gereelde terugvoer aan die gemeenskap te gee oor die vordering wat gemaak word om hierdie kritieke probleem aan te spreek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die veiligheid en welstand van die inwoners van Emalahleni moet &#8216;n prioriteit wees.
