Van die paaie is s\u00f3 vol slaggate dat motoriste voortdurend moet uitswaai om re\u00ebngevulde slaggate te vermy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daar is byvoorbeeld tien slaggate in Louis Bothastraat in Beyerspak, drie in Ridgestraat en sewe in Tiendelaan in Ravenswood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus verstaan dat re\u00ebn die slaggate verder uitkalwe, maar die metro kan nie wag met herstelwerk tot n\u00e1 die re\u00ebnseisoen nie. Daadwerklike optrede is nou nodig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die toenemende ontstaan van sinkgate in Boksburg is ook kommerwekkend. Verlede week het \u0149 sinkgat in Bigwoodlaan, Cinderella, voor \u0149 inwoner se huis ingeval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dit is slegs \u0149 paar kilometer van die Rietfontein-sinkgat wat al hoe groter word. Di\u00e9 sinkgat wat naby huise en besighede gele\u00eb is, het sowat twee jaar gelede ontstaan en die metro moes die pad afsper. Die sinkgat vergroot weens ondergrondse riool- en waterlekkasies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die metro se versuim om basiese water- en rioolinfrastruktuur in stand te hou, vererger die situasie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alhoewel finansi\u00eble uitdagings die metro in die gesig staar, kan die probleem beredder word deur die herprioritisering van begrotings, die aanwending van noodfondse en samewerking met die provinsiale regering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus eis dat Ekurhuleni nou optree om die groeiende probleem te behandel om sodoende inwoners en besoekers se veiligheid te verseker.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die VF Plus het die Ekurhuleni-metro versoek om slaggate in Boksburg te herstel en sinkgate te beveilig om lewensverlies te voorkom.
