Dit is die direkte gevolg van swak beplanning en wanbestuur van kontrakte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die hoof finansi\u00eble beampte, Zuzu Thekisho, het onlangs tydens \u2018n vergadering met die munisipaliteit se departementshoofde bevestig dat die metro \u2018n kontrak met \u2018n nuwe dieselverskaffer gesluit het wat voorafbetaling vereis, iets wat nie deel was van die oorspronklike kontrakvoorwaardes nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hierdie situasie werp ernstige vrae oor die metro se voorsieningskettingprosesse. Dit is duidelik dat die verskaffer nie die vermo\u00eb het om sy verpligtinge na te kom nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus eis dat daar dringend ondersoek ingestel word of die regte tender- en kwotasieprosesse gevolg is en of die verskaffer wel aan alle voorkwalifikasie-vereistes voldoen het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daar moet onmiddellik ander planne gemaak word om diesel te bekom sonder om nooddienste in gevaar te stel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mangaung kan dit eenvoudig nie bekostig om sy inwoners se veiligheid in te boet weens swak beplanning en kontrakte wat nie in hul beste belang is nie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die VF Plus is uiters bekommerd oor die krisis in die Mangaung-metro waar vullisverwydering weens \u2018n tekort aan diesel nou afhanklik is van noodvoorraad wat by die brandweer verkry word.
