Slegs \u0149 padbenaderingsteken is gevind waar die brug gebou moes word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die komitee het ook verdere ongerymdhede uitgewys. Van die R206 miljoen wat aan die projek toegeken is, kon die departement slegs van R14,4 miljoen verantwoording doen. Die uitstaande bedrag van R191,6 miljoen kon nie verklaar word nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus dring daarop aan dat die metro se openbare rekeningekomitee (MPAC) hierdie saak deeglik ondersoek en kwartaalverslae aan die raad lewer oor die vordering van die ondersoek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hierdie gebrek aan deursigtigheid en akkuraatheid in die departement se verslagdoening ondermyn nie net die departement se geloofwaardigheid nie, maar werp ook ernstige vrae oor die toesig oor openbare fondse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus sal aanhou druk uitoefen vir deursigtigheid en verantwoordbaarheid om te verseker dat openbare fondse regverdig en effektief gebruik word tot voordeel van al Ekurhuleni se inwoners.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die VF Plus dring daarop aan dat \u0149 ondersoek gedoen word na \u0149 voetgangerbrug in die Ekurhuleni-metro wat nooit gebou is nie.
