Een van die waterpanne is in die bekende Pomula-natuurreservaat gele\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trokke en bakkies is ook al gesien wat bourommel in die stroom ingooi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus is ook bekommerd oor inwoners van nedersettings langs die waterstroom wat hul vullis op die walle van die stroom stort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Intussen is bouwerk aan \u0149 brug wat oor die stroom gebou word tans in aanvang en sal hopelik teen die einde van die maand voltooi wees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die party sal die bouterrein gereeld besoek om te monitor dat geen bourommel agtergelaat word nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus het die volgende aan mnr. Mamanela voorgestel om die besoedeling stop te sit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verhoogde toesig en monitering: Onmiddellike ontplooiing van omgewingsbeamptes om die geraakte gebied streng te monitor om verdere onwettige stortings te keer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Streng handhawing van omgewingsregulasies: Vinnige regstappe teen oortreders om te verseker dat hulle aanspreeklik gehou word om ander van soortgelyke optrede afskrik.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gemeenskapsopvoeding en -betrokkenheid: Begin omvattende gemeenskap-uitreikingsprogramme om inwoners op te voed oor die belangrikheid van die behoud van die stad se natuurlike habitat en die wetlike gevolge van onwettige storting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus sal gedurende die volgende raadsvergadering die kwessie op die tafel plaas en pleit vir maatre\u00ebls om Kemptonpark se natuurlike hulpbronne te beskerm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Onwettige rommelstrooiing is \u0149 oortreding en diegene wat hulle daaraan skuldig maak kan beboet word.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die VF Plus het die Ekurhuleni-metro se burgemeesterskomiteelid vir omgewingshulpbronne en afvalbestuur, Leshaka Manamela, versoek om dringend die onwettige storting van bourommel in \u0149 rivierstroom in Constantiastraat Pomona, Kemptonpark, stop te sit.
