Die hof het bevind die heffing is onwettig en beveel dat dit binne 120 dae reggestel moet word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die munisipaliteit het besluit om teen di\u00e9 uitspraak te appelleer en die saak duur voort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus het voor die goedkeuring van die 2023-24-begroting gewaarsku teen die tarief van R81,31 per urinaal of toilet per maand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dit is bo en behalwe die sanitasietarief van R245,32 per maand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus het in sy voorlegging aan die koalisiekoukus gevra dat die toiletheffing geskrap moet word en die tarief eerder bepaal moet word aan die hoeveelheid afvalwater per \u0149 huishouding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die tweede hofsaak waarteen die VF Plus beswaar aangeteken het, is die een teen mnr. Arno Greyling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Greyling het sy grondwetlike reg uitgeoefen om sy misnoe\u00eb met die munisipaliteit se vullisverwyderingstarief wat met 66% verhoog het en die toiletheffing met \u0149 vreedsame protesaksie voor die munisipale kantore te kenne te gee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die munisipaliteit het ten duurste \u0149 interdik teen hom in die hooggeregshof in Kaapstad verkry en met regsaksies begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die VF Plus sal druk op die munisipaliteit uitoefen om homself te weerhou om belastingbetalersgeld op onnodige en kleinlike hofsake te bestee en die geld eerder aan te wend vir beter dienslewering.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die VF Plus is sterk gekant teen die Oudtshoorn-plaaslike munisipaliteit se gebruik van belastinggeld om hofsake te beveg wat buite die hof besleg kan word.
