{"id":68275,"date":"2023-08-04T12:51:05","date_gmt":"2023-08-04T10:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vfplus.org.za\/?p=68275"},"modified":"2023-08-04T12:51:09","modified_gmt":"2023-08-04T10:51:09","slug":"mbombela-moet-kwytskelding-van-belasting-regverdig-toepas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vfplus.org.za\/af\/mediaverklarings\/mbombela-moet-kwytskelding-van-belasting-regverdig-toepas\/","title":{"rendered":"Mbombela moet kwytskelding van belasting regverdig toepas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alle inwoners van die Mbombela-plaaslike munisipaliteit (Mbombela\/Nelspruit, Barberton, Hazyview, Kaapsehoop, Skukuza, Witrivier) moet oor dieselfde kam geskeer word as dit kom by kwytskelding van belasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die munisipaliteit het in beide die inkomsteverbeteringstrategieverslag sowel as risikobestuursverslag in Februarie aangedui dat een van die grootste bedreigings vir die munisipaliteit is om ni\u00e9 die belastingbasis binne die munisipaliteit se grense te verbreed nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nogtans maak die jongste goedgekeurde munisipale eiendomsbelasting- en belastingskedule vir die 2023\/24-boekjaar ongelyke voorsiening vir sommige belastingvrystellings en -kortings wat maandeliks aan die munisipaliteit betaalbaar is. Dit verskil ook van gebied tot gebied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dit beteken dat kortings enige persentasie tussen 0% tot 100% kan verskil afhangend van waar die eiendom gele\u00eb is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dit beteken ook dat die munisipaliteit nie finansieel voordeel trek uit vooruitstrewende sakeondernemings wat in landelike gebiede en gemeenskaplike- en staatstrustgrond gele\u00eb is nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aan die ander kant trek eienaars van plase en kleinhoewes geen voordeel uit die munisipaliteit se diensbepalings soos watervoorsiening of vullisverwydering nie. Hulle kry slegs &#8216;n korting en nie &#8216;n volle kwytskelding nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na 29 jaar van demokrasie en met die herverdeling van rykdom deur munisipale raamwerke, moet &#8216;n balans gevind word. Die verhoging van belasting moet gelyk deur die munisipaliteit verdeel word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indien die munisipaliteit belastings wil hef moet hy ook die dienste lewer in ruil daarvoor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die inwoners van die ANC-beheerde Mbombela-munisipaliteit verdien beter as die swak dienslewering wat hulle tans ontvang.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alle inwoners van die Mbombela-plaaslike munisipaliteit (Mbombela\/Nelspruit, Barberton, Hazyview, Kaapsehoop, Skukuza, Witrivier) moet oor dieselfde kam geskeer word as dit kom by kwytskelding van belasting.
