Johan Leibrandt, om ondersoek in te stel na die padwaardigheid van alle diensvoertuie van die munisipaliteit.<\/p>\n<p>Dit word genoodsaak n&#xE1; &#x2018;n ongeluk waarby &#x2018;n vullistrok van die munisipaliteit betrokke was. Die voertuig se toestand het veel te wense oorgelaat. Die VF Plus wil ook weet of daar &#x2018;n formele onderhoudsprogram vir munisipale voertuie bestaan en of dit streng gevolg word.<\/p>\n<p>Die ongeluk het plaasgevind in Wellington, op die hoek van Berg en Dalstraat en Genl. Hertzoglaan, nadat die trok se remme na bewering onklaar geraak het. <\/p>\n<p>Indien daar gebrekkige onderhoud aan die voertuig gedoen is, was hierdie ongeluk die direkte gevolg van growwe nalatigheid en &#x2018;n totale gebrek aan verantwoordelikheid vanaf die uitvoerende bestuur van Drakenstein.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens foto&#x2019;s lyk die voertuig in &#x2018;n uiters gehawende toestand en dit is moeilik om te glo dat dit &#x2018;n padwaardigheidtoets in Februarie geslaag het soos die munisipaliteit beweer. Die ongeluk kon gelei het tot lewensverlies en erge beserings van munisipale werkers en die publiek. <\/p>\n<p>Geen munisipaliteit wat jaar na jaar skoon oudits kry, se diensvoertuie behoort in so swak toestand te wees nie. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Leibrandt het aan die VF Plus bevestig dat hy &#x2018;n onafhanklike ondersoek aangevra het en &#x2018;n aantal stappe is reeds ingestel om seker te maak die voertuie is in &#8216;n beter toestand.
