Ou infrastruktuur en swak instandhoudingswerk lewer &#x2018;n bydrae tot die waterverlies.<\/p>\n<p>Vullisverwydering vind sporadies plaas en weens die munisipaliteit se onvermo&#xEB; om di&#xE9; diens te verskaf, vorm al hoe meer klein onwettige stortingsterreine in en om die dorpe.<\/p>\n<p>Die munisipaliteit se swak bestuursvermo&#xEB; word ook onderstreep deur die groeiende aantal debiteure, onderbesteding van befondsingsgeld en die onderbesteding van die operasionele begroting met 25%.<\/p>\n<p>Die volgende verhogings is goedgekeur: <br \/>Elektrisiteit &#8211; 14.59%<br \/>Water &#8211; 5.8% <br \/>Sanitasie &#8211; 5.8%<br \/>Vullisverwydering &#8211; 3.9%<br \/>Eiendomsbelasting &#8211; 3.9%<\/p>\n<p>Inwoners van Emfuleni het met die komende plaaslike regeringsverkiesing die geleentheid om saam met die VF Plus op te staan, saam te staan en &#x2018;n sterk boodskap aan die ANC te stuur dat die verval van di&#xE9; munisipaliteit nie langer geduld sal word nie en dat dienste waarvoor hulle ten duurste betaal, gelewer moet word.<\/p>\n<p>Navrae: 076 616 2124<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die VF Plus het nie die onbefondsde 2021\/22-begroting van die Emfuleni-plaaslike munisipaliteit (Evaton, Sebokeng, Vaal Oewer, Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging) gesteun nie aangesien die administrateur, Gilberto Martins, en sy span nie die politieke wil het om Emfuleni te red nie en steeds onrealistiese tariefverhogings hef.
