Daarom moedig die VF Plus alle Suid-Afrikaners aan om trots te wees op wie en wat hulle is &#8211; trots om bruin te wees, trots om swart te wees en trots om wit wees.<\/p>\n<p>Suid-Afrika is gese&#xEB;nd met baie uiteenlopende kulture, elk met sy eie unieke gebruike en erfenis. Ek kan sonder wrok of skuld my kop omhoog hou en met trots verklaar ek is &apos;n Afrikaner.<\/p>\n<p>Ek is trots daarop om &apos;n nasaat te wees van &apos;n volk wat die onbekende aangedurf het, wat gevorm is in die rooi grond van Afrika, wat met die een hand op die ploeg en met God se woord in die ander beloof het om te bou en nie te vernietig nie.<\/p>\n<p>Ek is trots daarop om in my taal te sing, te skryf, lief te h&#xEA; en te stry. Hierdie Erfenisdag-debat dui op die noodsaaklikheid van moedertaalonderrig vir alle Suid-Afrikaners en om hul eie kultuur te geniet en om daarop trots te wees.<\/p>\n<p>Ons erfenis is ook ons nalatenskap aan ons nageslagte. Die manier waarop ons optree, werk en regeer, sal geskenk word aan diegene wat in ons voetspore volg. Ons moet onsself afvra of ons optrede tot voordeel van ons kinders gaan wees. Dra ons op &apos;n positiewe manier by, want elke vergadering wat ons het, elke bespreking en debat is &apos;n re&#xEB;le-aksie wat die geskiedenis van m&#xF4;re vorm.<\/p>\n<p>Ons Afrikaner-voorvaders het, net soos vandag, bloed gesweet onder verdrukking. Hulle het nooit moed opgegee nie, maar het opgestaan om weer &apos;n pragtige Suid-Afrika te bou. Hulle het geveg vir hul taal, vir hul kinders en vir die behoud van hul waardes, sonder verskoning. Hulle het, soos tans, &apos;n punt bereik waar hulle ges&#xEA; het genoeg is genoeg.<\/p>\n<p>Ons het almal die verantwoordelikheid teenoor onsself, ons lewensmaats en ons kinders om nie moed op te gee nie. Ons is die nasate van ons voorouers, beskaafd, welbesproke, innoverend, behulpsaam, vriendelik, nederig en trots.<\/p>\n<p>Ons het almal die plig, nou meer as ooit tevore, om nooit op te offer wie ons is nie, maar om ons kulture en menswees te bewaar tot voordeel van ons kinders.
