Verskeie woonbuurte is in hierdie tydperk in stank gedompel met rou riool wat op plekke letterlik deur erwe van inwoners gestroom het.<\/p>\n<p>Die VF Plus het reeds telkemale gewaarsku dat die situasie op n krisis afstuur en het verskeie versoeke tot die munisipale bestuurder gerig om dringend op te tree om die situasie te beredder.<\/p>\n<p>Die VF Plus het weereens in Februarie 2020 &#x2018;n beroep op die munisipale bestuurder gedoen om die hele stormwater- en rioolstelsel professioneel te laat evalueer, en die vervanging en opgradering van die stelsel dringend te prioritiseer.<\/p>\n<p>Die VF Plus het ook daarop gewys dat gedurige noodherstelwerk baie duur is en geen volhoubare langtermyn oplossing bied nie.<\/p>\n<p>Die VF Plus het tydens &#x2018;n inspeksiebesoek aan die reservoirs op die noordelike grens van die dorp aan die direkteur van tegniese dienste en infrastruktuur, Jack Monagoto, pypleidings uitgewys waar moontlik miljoene liter water reeds verlore gegaan het weens gebrekkige instandhouding.<\/p>\n<p>Hierdie verval van &#x2018;n eens pragtige dorp weens nalatigheid en swak bestuur onder die ANC-regering is &#x2018;n absolute skande.<\/p>\n<p>Die VF Plus sal volhou om druk toe te pas op die munisipaliteit om inwoners se reg tot dienslewering en &#x2018;n menswaardige omgewing te beskerm.<\/p>\n<p>Kontaknommer: 082 457 7774<\/p>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die swaar re&#xEB;n die afgelope tyd het die geweldige agterstand in onderhoud aan die Potchefstroomse munisipale infrastruktuur blootgel&#xEA;.
