Hierdie prys is sowat 74% van munisipaliteite se koste om krag aan verbruikers te verskaf.<\/p>\n<p>Dit is &apos;n slag vir verbruikers wat reeds weens ho&#xEB; rentekoerse swaar kry. Dit maak Eskom se krag ook minder aantreklik vir enigeen met &apos;n keuse. Dit is sowel duur as onbetroubaar.<\/p>\n<p>Terwyl die nuwe minister van elektrisiteit, mnr. Sputla Ramakgopa, hom o&#xEB;nskynlik weer tot Eskom se verwaarloosde steenkoolkragstasies verbind, maak al hoe meer huishoudings en gemeenskappe hul eie planne.<\/p>\n<p>Terwyl sonkrag slegs gedurende sonskynure opgewek kan word, is daar vir huishoudings talle moontlikhede in die bestuur en berging daarvan.<\/p>\n<p>Batterye is die ooglopende oplossing. &apos;n Gemeenskap kan voordeel trek uit wisselende gebruikspatrone, deur eerder &apos;n gesamentlike battery op te stel, as een vir elke huishouding.<\/p>\n<p>Verder is opgewarmde geisers en afgekoelde ys- en vrieskaste ook gebergde energie.<\/p>\n<p>Uit die makro-oogpunt is oortollige sonkrag oor die middaguur beskikbaar om water terug te pomp, sodat dit tydens spitstyd deur hidrokragsentrales kan vloei.<\/p>\n<p>Wanneer elektrisiteit oorvloedig en bekostigbaar is, geniet die bestuur daarvan nie ho&#xEB; voorkeur nie. Die teenoorgestelde geld toenemend.<\/p>\n<p>Die tegnologie is beskikbaar om &apos;n kragtarief voortdurend aan die hand van aanbod en aanvraag te laat wissel. Dit sal beteken dat verbruikers en verskaffers energie berg en beskikbaar stel, op die tye wat dit vir hulle die grootste voordeel inhou.<\/p>\n<p>&apos;n Basislading is wel nodig om die elektrisiteitsnetwerk se korrekte frekwensie te handhaaf, maar namate verbruikers toenemend volgens hul eie behoefte opwek, sal die vereisde basislading ook daal.<\/p>\n<p>Energieverskaffing is tans in &apos;n oorgangsfase waartydens verskillende tegnologie&#xEB; meeding.<\/p>\n<p>Of die basislading in die toekoms van groen waterstof, kleinskaalse kernkragsentrales of &apos;n ander ontluikende tegnologievorm gaan kom &#8211; of steeds van steenkool &#8211; sal die tyd moet leer.<\/p>\n<p>Van die regering kan verwag word om &apos;n tariefstruktuur te implementeer wat daardie keuse van doeltreffendheid afhang, eerder as van gevestigde belange.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Luidens &apos;n berig van Moneyweb met die opskrif &quot;Nersa proposes 15,1% hike in municipal tariffs&quot; (12 April 2023) wag die energiereguleerder kommentaar in vir die voorgestelde verhoging in die prys van munisipale krag.
